Start with movement, fast XP collection, and a grid that supports one clear damage plan. The demo teaches the basics quickly, but the real learning curve is placement: weapons, fields, extensions, networks and relics all compete for space.

What matters in your first runs
Your first goal is not a perfect build. Learn how Bloil becomes Engine Parts, how the Engine Grid works, and how to return to the Hangar with enough progress to research permanent unlocks.
Level up before the screen gets crowded
The demo footage repeatedly shows players dying while holding unused level-ups. Spend them when pressure rises; unspent choices are zero damage.
Build around a damage direction
Directional cannons and lasers care about facing. If most of your damage only covers one side, route your movement so enemies stay in that firing lane.
Do not ignore movement speed
Several demo runs become safer as soon as movement speed improves. Speed helps you reach relics, collect XP and reposition before boss telegraphs.
Use Overcharge aggressively
Overcharge powers the core weapon and heals from damage dealt in the demo. Treat it as an offensive recovery window rather than an emergency potion.
